The allegations are that Gov. DeSantis lured migrants under the false pretense of the promise of cash assistance, food, training, and other benefits if they boarded the plane to Martha's Vineyard.
If true, why would he do this at the cost of self-sabotage of his campaign for presidency? Something doesn't add up.

Sounds like Massachusetts promised it according to that brochure. Whether or not they fulfil their promise is not on DeSantis.

You all can roast me for what I am about to say but it's attitudes like yours which give the GOP a bad name.
Are they illegal immigrants? Yes.
Should they be deported back to their own native soil? Yes.
Should we establish strict border control and prevent illegals from coming in to our nation illegally? Yes.
Should we still uphold some standard of decency instead of baiting these illegal immigrants (women and children included) as stage props for a political stunt? Yes.

The question I'm trying to answer is whether DeSantis actually handed these brochures to the illegal immigrants in full knowing that they would not be qualified to receive any of them.

Nowhere in that tweet did it suggest DeSantis promised anything you little shite. It's a brochure with information for these filthy illegals to find assistance in Massachusetts.
