Excellent article by Andy McCarthy explaining WHY Obama Admin wanted Flynn out

There was a thread about his interview on Tucker the other day, but here is his National Review article that lays it out in details.
In a nutshell, Flynn was one of the only senior officials on Trump's transition team with the experience and understanding the workings of the DC intelligence apparatus. As Trump's NSA, he would have sniffed out the bogus Russian investigation and shut Crossfire Hurricane down with the quickness.
He also provides a good analysis of the scheming of the rogue FBI players (Comey, McCabe, Stzrok, Page) in the lead-up to the Jan 24, 2017 Hail Mary perjury trap interview based on the recently released documents.

Rope, lamp post, some assembly required.
Alternatively, do a Spartacus along the National Mall.

What I found odd when reading some Crossfire Hurricane docs last week is that on August 2016 there were four named "suspects".
1. Carter Page
2. George Papa D
3. Paul Manafort
4. Michael Flynn
At the time Flynn was a member of the Trump campaign as an advisor. And obviously a potential member of his administration if he won.
Why the frick were they investigating Flynn in August.

Guess you missed this part:
quote:
Strzok and Page fretted in text messages on Monday, January 23, that Priestap was not getting the picture. His protests were irking McCabe. By Tuesday morning, a few hours before the January 24 interview, the deputy director was even more frustrated because Priestap had repeated his concerns to Director Comey. If Comey wavered, the plan could be scotched.
The FBI’s top officials met at headquarters. Comey approved the plan to have Strzok and agent Joe Pientka visit Flynn at his office — no heads-up to others at the White House would be provided. McCabe was to call Flynn to arrange the meeting, assisted by Strzok in thinking through what to tell the NSA. The idea was to put Flynn at ease — make him feel like it would just be a chat between veteran national-security guys, not a criminal investigation; discourage Flynn from getting a lawyer; disabuse him of any thought of involving the White House counsel or chief-of-staff. Just a quick meeting so they could put to rest all this Russia noise in the media. No big deal.
The rest is history.
Acting Attorney General Yates was not given notice that would have triggered an obligation to alert White House counsel Don McGahn. By the time she went to see White House counsel McGahn two days later, she was in a position to say not only that Flynn had discussed sanctions with Kislyak, putting Vice President Pence in an embarrassing position; she was able to add that Flynn had been interviewed by the FBI.

Because of Steele’s knowingly false reporting

Scarier Jingle...reading the document the FISA judge wrote regarding the spying going back to 2012, and somewhere between 10,000 and 99,999 "ask queries" on numerous subjects.
Thats why Flynn had to go, he would blow that wide open....fortunately Mike Rogers did it for us.
All this nonsense will be resolved. Barr knows Trump has a quadruple terabyte file from Rogers with all the aforementioned info. Barr starts gettin busy or Trump will make him look like an absolute fool and complicit in obstruction of justice (so much for his saving the reputation of his institution). Rest easy Trump has this covered.

Just following up on their 2014 setup of General Flynn. He'd been an enemy of the Obama administration for awhile. They were going to get him one way or the other.
Russian Honeytrap (Really MI6 and CIA) in 2014

Do you approve of the corruption of Comey and others with this?
Posted on 5/4/20 at 9:28 am to sacrathetic
In his defense he probably wasnt expecting a coup attempt from the FBI/IC

Hey if it's treason.............

Ironic isnt it Strannix. Flynn knew so much about IC of Obama he probably thought he was immune to any attacks, particularly something so blatant.
Fast forward and I bet you the whole intel community could never have envisioned it erupting into such a mess in their lap (lets hope).

Easy to Monday morning quarterback what happened. Your take is like saying "Well, she shouldn't have dressed like that is she didn't want to be sexually assaulted."
It is obvious they were doing everything they could to trick Flynn into meeting. Obviously it worked.
I don't find fault in Flynn for that. We have all been duped in our life.
Flynn had been on the job for basically a few weeks when this happened. I suspect most anyone would have done the same thing.
Maybe not, but I place no fault for this at the feet of Flynn. The corruption should garner 100% of our attention.

That reads like we have become Russia.

quote:Yeah. He should totally rot in jail for talking to the FBI without a lawyer. Seems like fair punishment for such a horrible transgression.
That does not excuse people like Flynn from doing stupid stuff.

The gov should repay all pay he would have received, pay all his attorney fees and any other expenses, and give him reparations for being treated this way. Hoping Trump is already on this.

quote:Screw that. The taxpayers didn't do anything wrong. Take it from Comey, McCabe, Page, Storzk, and the other clowns. That is who should pay for this.

Comey is so proud of his exploitation of the Trump administration. He admits he wouldn't have tried it on others.
