Everyone is Racist

I’ve been thinking and I’ve concluded that everyone is inherently racist. Doesn’t matter your skin color. We are complex organisms but still have very primal traits. Think of it like tribes. For a majority of people no matter there skin color they gravitate towards people who look like them. Doesn’t mean you have have to be a jerk to people who have different skin color then you. Just be a good person.

Race is imagined, a construct. We are inherently tribal, but we can’t be inherently racist. Racism has to be learned to exist.

I get what you're saying but I wouldn't call it racist. It's not that most people hate other races but that they have a strong in group preference for their own race.

It's an evolutionary instinct. You are more likely to care for, and protect, those whose genetics more closely resemble your own. You've got to do some serious brainwashing to eliminate that drive.
ETA: I will agree that hate for out-groups is a learned behavior. That's an entirely different set of thoughts than in-group preference.

I had no less than five people on this board the other day tell me the Latin Americans have an average IQ of 80. When asked how they possibly have that information they could not answer. They just simply wanted to believe that brown people are dumb

As defined by today's standard everyone is racist. We are supposed to pretend we don't see obvious hereditary traits- because that would be racist. It's almost childish.

Of course it's natural to seek to be with your own.
Just look at the tables children sit at in school, or the groups formed in prisons, or the racial compositions of the individuals at the churches of their choosing.
You'll find there is always the "Asian church" or the "black table" or whatever.
That's fine. That's perfectly normal and healthy.

I get your point, OP. But I would not call that racism.
For example I think back to when I played college ball as a freshmen. At dinner during fall camp, the team was probably about 50/50 between black and white. I did not realize it until someone pointed it out. Our tables were very segregated, every table was either all black guys or all white guys. The only table that was integrated was the freshmen table. This was not done on purpose at all. Our team got along very well, and there definitely wasn't any racial tension at all.
We gravitate to people who look like us for comfort. We like identifying with people who look similar to us. It is the easy thing to do. That is why lil girls love Wonder Woman. This is why lil boys don't care about Disney Princesses. This is why white people are most likely to date white people, black people most likely to date black people, etc. None of this is racism.
