Even if Trump won the presidency in 2024, we would be back in this same spot in 2028.

We need a conservative swamp drainer for an 8-year run. As we’ve seen, swamp creatures can hide and re-emerge in 4 years. Perhaps they could also re-emerge in 8 years, but it would be much more difficult.

I’m coming around to the idea of DeSantis with Trump pitching in to help primary rinos and be the hype man.

I fear that Trump would, once again, flounder around and make some bad appointments which would eat up half of his term.

De Santis is the man.

I love DJT, but he’ll be 78. De Santis is a more calculated and composed Trump

Xiden is what, like 80 years old? I’d rather Trump’s dad’s corpse over Xiden.

I think Trump may be too old to run. I want him to be pounding the pulpit and get more politicians from the right being bold in their leadership. I appreciate what Trump did and tried to do and I owe him my support again. He was a bad arse that trusted too many and I hope he helps clean house through the polls against the asswipes who swamped him from the GOP.

I like Desantis and will get my support should Trump choose to not run. I agree with your assessment. I wish the election wasn’t stolen and Trump got another four years followed by Desantis. It would have been more ideal.

Desantis is a cagey politician. He saw Republican voters are starving for real leaders who stand up strong and makes decisions that fight back against the horrible legislation and EO’s of the left. I was thinking he was another weak minded fall in line GOP dude and I like what he has done. Hope he stays that way.

That’s my concern.
I don’t want a leader who is willing to negotiate when in the poll position.

Trump run and win in 2024 with a DeSantis VP as his heir apparent for 2028.

Nothing has changed since 2020 so how can he win in 2024?

TRUMP/DeSantis 2024 then DeSantis for 8 years as President. Why can't some of you see this is the way?

Anyway it's a moot point because TRUMP will be reinstated as President this fall.

Some things have changed.
Hopefully more positive changes are on the way.

Keep the faith.

you are right and trump is smart enough to know nothing would be any different the second time, thats why i think he may not run. as a private citizen he can do more to replace all the rinos which is step one if they are ever going to have a chance to dismantle the deep state

This is what I think every time I hear of someone moving from a liberal state to Texas or Florida. What do you think happens to either of these states if a liberal governor is elected?

Trump then DeSantis. That will be 12 years of cleanup. After that another America First person will arise.

Objectively speaking, he really wasn't that great of a President. He did some good things but also failed massively in other areas and was fought to submission on many more. He couldn't even get the DOJ to do anything, ever. He spent his entire term on the defensive. It just didn't work out that well. He was better than the previous 4 guys prior. Still, not good enough.

This for sure. This time off for Trump, could actually be good for him to prep to go scorched earth, and learn who is AF leaders. I like to think this is what he is doing with his time.

Cleaning house with Desantis, and setting him up for 8yrs. Only bad thing was GA letting the Dems have full control letting them do more harm than they should have been able to.

Hopefully Trump learned from his first term and is already vetting possible appointments. No matter what happens, we have to fight to get our country back on the right track for our children's sake.

Then we have twelve years on clean up to do. Until the communists and Marxists are driven underground, this nation is not safe.

In twelve years, Pelosi and Schumer will be nothing more than fart in the wind.

I’ve got a solution for that.

Promise Desantis the VP slot and if they win, step down after two years and ride off into the sunset. This leaves Desantis to run the show for the next 10 years.

It would be glorious and a movie like ending that would put the left in tears.
