This might cause Musk to throw up his hands and give up. I hate that a bunch of petty bureaucrats in Brussels can ban speech on an American platform, but that’s where we are.

Remember when the board leftists told us Twitter censorship wasn't being endorsed by the government but was a private matter? Now we have Janet Yellen and the European Union expressly stating the exact opposite.

Leon knows that the left wants a global echo chamber and if he doesn't give it to them, some big tech consortium will.
Shot after shot is being fired across his bow and the forces he's up against aren't fricking around. If he doesn't behave the way they want him to behave, a new platform will develop and Titter will dry up and blow away like Arizona dog shite. Leon knows this and he will come around.

the wild thing about these EU commissioners is that they are not even elected by the european people...they are appointed. and yet here they are...these unelected bureaucrats demanding what apps european citizens can or can't use
