Neither of those guys will be confirmed and Scalise will be the compromise candidate.

I don't understand all of the manlove for Jordan. Yeah he sounds good and gets soundbites that get all of the die hard Trumpkin types all wet in the panties, but I don't really don't see him as all that.

But the Minority /Majority leader's job is so much more than being the the ideological purist. He's the deal maker inside of the party, never mind the Democrats. He has to know how things work and more importantly what can't work. Jordan believes what he believes and that is it.
