Drunk Grandma Pelosi Won't Answer Yes/No Question If 15-Week Fetus Is 'A Human Being'

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi didn’t directly answer a yes-or-no question about whether an "unborn baby at 15 weeks is a human being," instead reaffirming a woman’s right to choose.

"Let me just say that I am a big supporter of Roe v. Wade. I am a mother of five children in six years. I think I have some standing on this issue as to respecting a woman's right to choose," Pelosi, D-Calif., said during her weekly press conference Thursday.

The question was in reference to the Supreme Court's plan to take up a Mississippi law that bans abortions after 15 weeks. The law was struck down by a federal judge in 2018, and again by the conservative Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in December 2019. Roe v. Wade, the 1973 landmark Supreme Court decision, legalized abortion prior to viability, or about 24 weeks into a pregnancy.

Pelosi, like President Biden, is faced with the tense dichotomy of being both Catholic and Democrat. The Catholic Church teaches that abortion is a sin, but the Democratic Party firmly embraces a woman's right to choose.

Pelosi has signaled support for eliminating the Hyde Amendment, which bans federal funding for abortion, and Biden left it out of his proposed budget last month, though the budget is just a framework for Congress to work with.

PELOSI DEFENDS DEMOCRATIC DIVISIONS, SAYS PARTY IS NOT A ‘LOCKSTEP RUBBER STAMP’

Pelosi’s hometown bishop suggested in May that lawmakers who support abortion should refrain from Communion.

"If you find that you are unwilling or unable to abandon your advocacy for abortion, you should not come forward to receive Holy Communion," San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone said in a pastoral letter.

Pelosi has long supported abortion rights and has faced many questions on whether her views put her at odds with the teachings of the church.

The California Democrat has long given some variation of her answer in Thursday’s press conference. In 2015, when faced with a question from CNS News on whether 20 weeks into the gestation period the unborn child constitutes a "human being," she said she had "great standing" to speak on the matter "as a mother of five in six years," and that she knows more about having babies than the pope.

To this point, liberals still refuse to establish at which point their non-sentient 'clump of cells' magically and invariably becomes an infant person.

Haircut Nancy has been out of the light for a bit.

And she can never ever ever again answer a question, no matter what it is, without giving a political BS answer.

Reporter: “Nancy did you enjoy dinner last night?”

Pelosi: “Well I wouldn’t say enjoy. Well…we…listen. This is simply consumption of a product. Ok? Nothing more.”

This is so true of so many elected officials.

Saw an interesting comment somewhere yesterday:

If they found a microbe on Mars then they have found proof of life but a heartbeat on earth does not prove life.

That's right! Asterisk's 2022 budget refers to 'birthing people,' instead of 'mothers.'

Birthing people-fricker doesn't have the same flow, though.

If they ever get Samuel L. Jackson on board, it might have a chance.

That reminds me of when Drunk Grandma tried to lay out new pronoun rules for the floor of the house, and promptly broke them in the same breath.

Human life begins and ends with consciousness.

Once that is attained you have life and once it ceases you have death.

Abortion is an individual issue and I personally would never have one. With that said, the state has no right to trespass one's bodily autonomy.

Choose what? Which of her kids should die because the child is inconvenient for her lifestyle?

...and she should be fined and censured. Its "birthing person', not "mother".

You do realize that women who want abortions will seek them regardless if legal or not?

Abortion is the issue that it makes total sense to have a public and private stance on, i.e., as a policy matter abortion should be legal but personally never have one.

Nancy Pelosi - another one of those Judas Catholics Bergoglio says should be allowed to receive Holy Communion.

In the Catholic Church Holy Communion is an act of unity. Through an act (receiving the Living Bread) you profess union with God and that you are a member of His Mystical Body. The Mystical Body of Christ being His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

Professing that you embrace union with God means you choose to follow His laws. From the earliest recorded salvation history God made it clear,"Thou shalt not kill". And abortion kills a human being, even the abortionist acknowledge that. Abortion is a "hit job" on a defenseless human being.

Nancy Pelosi is NOT in union with God and she is NOT in union with the Mystical Body of Christ. What she is doing is flirting with eternal damnation. Hell is the absence of God. This is serious stuff.

Are you reading this Joe Biden?

So, Casey Anthony missed out on all those parties because she wasn't proactive about her personal health decisions?

If want to argue at least do it in good faith dude.

You missed my earlier post about consciousness; Casey Anthony murdered her daughter.

Convenient and legal were not interchangeable in my post.

You are too retarded to argue with; women who want abortions will seek them out regardless if legal or not.

I suspect you are very anti-welfare and any kind of aid to help the same unborn that you purport to care so much for.

Funny that your rabid support for them ceases once they are born.

Holy frick you are incapable of arguing in good faith; all you do is through up absurd non sequitors that you think are owns. All they show is you are incapable of understanding anything.

It's quite simple dude, once you have attained consciousness you have life.

it’s not born until it’s born…

15 weeks is basically early in the second trimester of a 40 week pregnancy. Someone at 15 weeks could easily pass it off for being at 12 weeks, which would be in the first trimester where most abortions are legal
