That is not how that works
Colonoscopy does not detect prostate cancer, it is for detection of colorectal cancer. PSA tests (blood) are the method now, or the old way of a doctor giving you a prostate massage with their fingers.

As far as Biden, it doesn't bother me so much about the prostate cancer omission, as it does his obvious deficient cognitive ability. He was not fit when he was RUNNING for his first time, and his handlers knew it. I'm acutally surprised he made it thru is 1st term.

Exactly the first thing I have thought. He has probably had this for a while, elected to not do treatment because of his age. They only released this information when they did to take some of the smoke away from the cover up scandal.

Correct. It is entirely possible that he does not even have cancer. He is clearly already dying from some form of dementia, but the "cancer diagnosis" changes the narrative and the MSM will no longer talk about the dementia hiding, thus prottecting his legacy in some way. Although his legacy is absolute garbage anyway.
The fact that they released this right after all of the dementia hiding reporting by the MSM is very telling to me.

"May not have cancer" but when it gets into the bones it's usually deadly. Restricted to the prostate gland , it's easily treated. The lymph nodes are usually next & then all goes down hill. All studies show it is a very slow growing form of cancer, so this doctor is correct, he's had it for a while for it to now be in his bones. So...........how / why / when was it missed?

There's at least one former U.S. Senator that has openly said he thinks it is possible.
The current narrative is incompetence. The doctors didn't notice Biden had cancer. The occam's razor theory is that they knew but covered it up.
It's still perfectly reasonable to ask questions about other theories that are circulating.

However, his larger point is this should have been detected in a POTUS prior to metastasis. Of course the salient question is "Was it?"
ETA: "Dr. who worked with Biden" may be misleading. Emanuel worked on policy with Biden. Emanuel has not practiced medicine / cared for patients since completing his fellowship about 3 decades ago.

This is exactly what makes me think he may not have cancer at all. It seems to me that it is a;most impossible to miss this time and time again as he has had so many physicals over the years, expecially as president.
Prostate cancer is so easy to detect, and for it to be in the bones means he has had it for years.
