Not long after 9/11, the World Trade Center Business Recovery Grant program was established to help small businesses recover and rebuild. The program disbursed hundreds of millions of dollars through a New York state development corporation in the years following the attacks.

One couldn’t tell from ESDC records, for example, that “40 Wall Street LLC” is owned by Trump. The Donald bills himself as the “largest real estate developer in New York,” His company collected a $150,000 grant for losses at 40 Wall St.

And as Trump said immediately following 9/11, none of his properties were directly damaged by the attack on the World Trade Center.

Why are you linking an article from February of 2016?

Didn’t he donate a shite ton of money for the 9/11 memorial?

I am sure the entity qualified for the money - that is how real estate tax credits, grants, etc. work.

Shows how badly the government mismanages money.

Are you going to pretend that Donald Trump applied for a grant for one of his businesses, and he was given the money because they just didn't know who he was? Or is it more likely that he actually qualified for it?
ETA: He probably had no hand in applying for this at all.

I wonder what type of 9/11 funds ended up in Clinton’s hands as the Jr. senator from New York?

I’m sure the OP will start a thread on how Donald donates his presidential salary to charity to show balance any second now.
