The same was said about Clinton v. Obama and Obama was able to pull 90 plus percent of her supporters.

That is quite literally ancient history to be honest. It'll have no effect on this election, and let's remember the 2008 election saw many, many people with Republican fatigue. It was easy for any Democrat to capitalize on that.

What's crazy about it? What does he have to lose exactly if he doesn't get the D nomination and runs independent?

How soon before dems start demanding the phone numbers and addresses of each of those donors...so that they can give the info to the msm and have the msm broadcast it to their frenzied base.? I predict a lot of harassment, physical violence and death threats coming.

And if Sanders doesn't get the DNC nod, he will 100% run independent.

He wouldn't do that because it would 100% give Trump the presidency. Even if he pulled just 5 or 7% of the vote, that would all come out of the Democrat challenger.

I sent $25 yesterday. Apparently our names are supposed to be posted somewhere. I thought it was on the screen during the rally but maybe they meant after Trump wins.

Bernie is not gonna split the vote and be known as the man who helped Trump

I know Clinton v. Obama is history. But history influences the present. They came together against generic republicans then so now that Trump is their boogeyman they definitely will be motivated.

I feel that was a courtesy he paid the DNC in 2016, but I don't think he does it a second time. I could be wrong, but I feel like there's a "burn it all to ground" aspect to his campaign this time if he doesn't get the nom.

That's what his supporters want but Bernie will back the Dem nominee for the right price.

Good news but how is it compared to all Dems combined? The Dems have a lot of candidates and fundraising among leftist voters is spread out among them. Trump has no opponent fundraising against him.

If the total among all candidates on the left dwarfs Trumps numbers that could be bad news regarding the enthusiasm gap
