I would agree. I have had one severe dog bite in my life. 65lb dog bit down on my wrist full force, all 4 canines chomped down to the gum line. I was in so much pain I could hardly speak.

BUT....to dive into this a little more....did the guy try to run/get away? Did the dogs get the jump on him?
I mean look of all the intruders that have broken into a house and encountered dogs this is the 1st one we've heard of the intruder dying at the hands (errr mouth) of the dogs that I can remember. Fortunately, the bastard isn't alive to tell his tale....but I would find it interesting I think.

This is true; but for the toughest of warriors. Best to give them your left hand, so you can work with your right (assuming one is left-handed). Take em' to the ground and get on top; that's the only chance. Will never pull loose from a Pit.
Depending on the color of the deceased (sad to say) and of the dog's owner, justice will be rendered accordingly. Is what it is. Kinda sad for the dead guy; rough way to go. He'll carry that nightmare into his next life.

Got a pit and a German shepherd, plus a Catahoula and a blue lacy. The shepherd doesn't get socialized outside of our home. Fiancé is former LEO, so he's trained like a police k9.
Somebody would have to shoot them before they could get in our house.

Great news. No stories on CNN about racist white dogs killing a guy that was just on his way walking to community college and just happened to stop by for a mostly uninvited friendly visit that died for no reason…..
