Does congress even know what SCOTUS just did to the agencies? Networks are giddy about TX.

The networks are falling over themselves about the TX decision, but barely a mention of WV vs EPA.

Do they even know their green imitative was just nuked?

Edit...Fox just covered it with Larry Kudlow

My question is this: does this also affect executive orders that carry the weight of law?

Example: Bush administration’s unilateral ban on Chinese firearms and ammunition.

I’m assuming since it has to do with Texas and the media is giddy, he is talking about “stay in Mexico” being overturned

SCOTUS gave the left a win on ending the "Stay In Mexico" edict.

Probably realized it doesn't make a bit of a difference with the frickery they're doing regarding illegals anyway.

As a side note, why do conservatives on here keep calling them "migrants"? They are ILLEGAL ALIENS.

WV vs EPA is to complicated to explain to Democratic voters in 30 seconds.

While this ruling will have a huge positive impact on America Democrats won’t get very mad about it because it is to complicated for them.

EPA cannot arbitrarily make environmental regulations.

Congress has to make them before the EPA can enforce them.

Basically making congress do its job.

My phone just told me that the Supreme Court has removed the ability of the EPA to fight climate change thereby endangering all of us (complete with WAPO picture of coal, slag heaps, and chimneys belching black smoke). Unbiased journalism.

Biden v. Texas - Allows Bidens executive order to remove Trump's "stay in Mexico" EO. Which directed removed migrants and sent them back to Mexico, while they await their trials.

Not the result that you'd hope for, but presidential EO's can be undone by other presidents.

WVa v. EPA - Removed the ability for bureaucratic agencies to create de facto legislation, as that is the job of congress and can not be delegated unless there is clear direction from congress. There is a lot more nuance to that, but that's the basic rough explanation.

Let them have their little victory. Even if Texas won the Biden admin would have never enforced it.

The good news is now it will be a lot easier to rescind prior presidents EOs especially EOs without the Obama factor.

THey haven't been enforcing it so it matters little.

And frankly it was an EO. How it was argued Biden couldn't reverse it I'll never know.

Not saying I'm happy it went away, but EO's are trash in the long run.

It didn't necessarily get nuked. They can still push it through legislation, but Congress critters will have to put their names on it.
