There will always be crazy people inspired by extreme stuff in all areas of the globe.
No there are no organized ISIS cells operating in North America.
No Trump's ban will not accomplish anything in preventing terrorism. It will inspire more lone wolf nutjobs already here to spring to action, however.

I was Intell with JSOC and there is definitely both homegrown and foreign in our borders and yes we are constantly thwarting their plans.

Sure. But there is a particular risk in the west of those "crazy" people being radicalized muslims inspired by an endless amount of ISIS and/or salafi propaganda that encourages violence in the name of Islam.
