Does anyone think McCabe was offered a deal to spill the beans before being terminated?

I was thinking about this prior to his eventual termination, wondering if he was being offered his pension, immunity or something else to come clean with the American people regarding the overtly politicized FBI and their blatant attempt to torpedo Trump's campaign and subsequently oust Trump from the White House.

I'm still wondering, I'm sure it will all come oozing out of the Swamp in due time.

IDK why you all are making such a big deal about it.

He's not arrested.

He's not going to jail.

He's not even going away.

The only thing accomplished was he's losing his pension. 2 mil. that's like loaning $200 to a guy from a billionaire. He will get his $$ from some other swamp creature.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's not getting it, I just don't get why everyone is over excited like wooo swamp draining!!! No...not really.

I hope he does start calling others out, though.

All dat true.

I have heard that some DEM can hire him for a few days to re-qualify for the pension.

Pretty sure they offered no deal at all to prevent firing.

But the INDICTMENT thing is where it's at - if he starts looking at jail time, his DEM pals cannot help him out. That is where the deals may come.

Hopefully, those indictments will come.

Yeah we know, that's what is frustrating for people who have been watching all this D.C. Corruption thrown right in our faces......, remember Hilldawg? That was a preview of what the Swamp can do for you if you're a member in good standing. I guess Flynn chose the wrong side.

No. He was fired for two reasons. First, so he'd lose his pension. But more importantly, the can be cast as a disgruntled former employee if Mueller uses him as a witness.

It's sad y'all think Trump is trying to expose massive corruption within the DOJ. There are problems there, but he is solely trying to save his own hide.

The spleen, he was fired because the fbi recommended he be fired

Why are you excusing his behavior? Why are you doubting the office of attorney general and office of professional responsibility

He has been under OIG investigation since before trump

I laugh at anybody who thinks timid Jeff sessions would do this without a LOT more coming, but then leftists are not smart.

We aren’t there yet. That’s coming. MCCabe will get his chance to hang Comey. The Left will turn them into the greatest living Americans. So brave. So down for the cause.

When was that recommendation made, and on what justification? Why wait until the Friday night before his retirement is official?

I'm not. I'm just reading the writing on the wall. Back in late December or early January Trump tweeted McCabe had 90 days before his retirement and wondered if he'd last that long. Then he does a touchdown dance this morning over the firing, then one of his lawyers comes out stating the Mueller investigation should be shut down.

And?

Every bit of that is justified

Lying to the Inspector General.

Recommendation from OPR that he be fired.

What makes you think they waited? Maybe they were waiting on specific evidence.

Do you believe his firing was warranted?
