DOD Announces Strategy to Tackle Climate Crisis

quote:

Climate change is a destabilizing force in the world, creating new missions and impacting the operational environment. Climate change can affect sources of raw materials, supplies, equipment, vehicles and weapons systems, as well as their distribution and storage. As DOD responds, it is critical that training, testing and acquisitions, not disproportionately impact low income and/or minority populations. The DOD's environmental justice strategy includes environmental equity and justice in department organizational structures, policies and implementation guidance through inclusive and equitable climate adaptation and resilience as well as in agile mission assurance.

This might be the mother of all bureaucratic word salad.

Mannn. I’m glad there is absolutely nothing going on in this world that the DoD should be concerned about beside this.

Relieved.

What makes anyone think the clowns running the DoD can win any war given the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. Sounds like another money funneling activity seen in Afghanistan.

Hope it goes as well as the war on drugs.

Or maybe the war on poverty.

I don't understand why we can't have our agencies focus on their actual function.

Looks like our DoD is taking orders straight from the World Economic Forum.

All about “resilience” - which is code for destroying it themselves, then claiming it failed because it wasn’t resilient, then BUILD IT BACK under their supervision so that they (the government) have full monitoring and control capabilities over it.

BUILD BACK BETTER baby!

Is it any wonder we lose to China in 18 straight wargames?

Agreed. Why are minorities brought into these at all?
Additionally, they didn't provide how climate change impacts the DOD, other than a few bs spewed statements.
