Trump's acceptance speech and the media coverage immediate after.

Simply put, 5 seconds after he was done they were claiming he said shite he didnt say. Which I know because i had just watched it. Also i didnt vote and just wanted to see what he was going to say.

Hell of a wake up call.

COVID it was early 2020 probably mid March, when they started shutting down playgrounds and bars banning buying vegetables and flower seeds, I was driving home from work (grocery store management)
and I just wanted to hear what am radio had to say, they always talk more, and rush was on 1100, I remember him being made fun of but keep it on, and he was a hard listen at first but i got what he was saying eventually & what was going on and to this day I see more, man sometimes I kinda wish I didn’t know, I probably need to stop coming here and listening to the radio, however I got older and I can’t stop learning now.

quote:

For me it was the Florida Bush/Gore fiasco (yes I am old). When Al Gore's legal team fought like hell to keep military ballots from being counted. It was my first introduction to Brenda Snipes and the Broward County corruption. I was a casual observer of news/politics. This was the first story i followed diligently and investigated extensively.

I was headed that way (working for a small business owner), but this event sealed it. The blatant lying by the media about voting irregularities and lying about the illegal recounts the Dems wanted pushed me red for good.

Trump Russian collusion hoax

We saw the weaponization of the IRS under Obama. We knew there was a smell coming from the state dept. I don't think anyone was prepared to learn our Intel agencies, DOJ and FBI were completely corrupt to the core.

They launched a counter Intel OP on a rival campaign based on fabricated evidence. They knew it was all fake but they proceeded to try to frame a then sitting US President with a capital crime. They irrevocably damage US foreign policy (actually subverted it). Broke every policy, procedure and committed several felonies including falsifying evidence and lying to a secret fisa court. They wasted 10's of millions of dollars. And yet, not one person spent a single night in jail.

That's when I realized we may have reached the tipping point.......and most of us didn't see it coming.

Always hated politics & shunned it. But…

Bill Clinton denying under oath he had sexual relations with Lewinsky & then the FBI confirmed her infamous blue dress was indeed stained with his semen.

It wasn’t just the Democrat President lying without compunction & playing word games — “that depends on what the definition of ‘is’ is” — but the fact that Democrat women continued to support a white male sexual predator. It didn’t make sense. Compromising their beliefs like that.

That shocked me.

I find myself similarly stunned by Blacks who voted for Biden when he’s referred to adult non-white males as “boy” on several occasions, as well as his mentor-ish relationship with former KKK member & Democrat senator Robert Byrd. Not to mention the 1,000s of young Black men Biden’s Crime Bill put into prison.

But Blacks didn’t seem to care.

I’ve been more surprised by Democrat voters who continued to support Clinton & Biden despite their respective sexism & racism than by the actual immoral behaviors of these Democrat presidents.

I see this thread is more about government corruption rather than turning conservative.

I’ve always been extremely anti-government since I started loosely keeping up with politics in college. Very big Milton Friedman fan because he was consistent in everything even when he maybe disagreed with the concept (for example, free markets also mean freedom of borders and immigration). Throughout my life, no one in DC has had any semblance of consistency or honesty in their beliefs. I’ve always liked numbers and once I saw how people making $150k a year at the peak of their career are somehow worth tens of millions of dollars, it told me all I needed to know.

I’ll just say that Trump did a good bit of things that I really didn’t like. However, the one thing that gave me solace over everything else is how much the lifelong leeches (both parties) in DC hated him. If the cretins on both sides of the aisle hate someone and they didn’t just shoot up a school or bomb someone, you’re probably doing something right.

Not one particular instance, but several.

Growing up my dad always made comments I somewhat paid attention to. Earliest recollection would be Columbine. He made a comment along the lines of "Here comes a gun control push!" in a sarcastic tone. I was 10 at the time. Wasn't entirely sure what he was talking about.

Then 9/11. I was 12. It was a scary time for everyone. One night I overheard him talking to my uncle and they were talking about what could that possibly be covering up.

After that as I got older, I noticed things that didn't quite line up the way they were originally portrayed to the public. I was in college when Obama got elected and I started to realize more and more that lots of people just voted for him simply because he is black.

From there I started digging more into 9/11 and even JFK on my own and remembering the little things my dad would say growing up. That stuff really opened my eyes.

Countless other things took place. From random "mass shootings" down to random people dying only to discover it is because of what they know. Ferguson, MO situation was telling.

Trump winning the election and facing cries for impeachment at every corner for 4 years straight right on into 2020 COVID bullshite. The protests before and especially during kind of woke my wife (no pics) up too.

Somewhere in between all of that I watched House of Cards which I'm surprised they let that show air ever. It's all right under our noses and everything that happens false flag wise is a cover up of some sort and/or to control some sort of narrative we aren't quite aware of. Really makes you think what that next "thing" is.

Now here we are with a stolen election and all of this other shite is going on and while 2020-present has sucked mostly, I'm glad it has also woken a lot of people up and exposed corruption on all sides of the aisle.

Billy Clinton getting a BJ in the Oval Office, lying about it, then suffering effectively no consequences and continuing to be a star to the democrats.

I knew then there were two sets of rules in effect. One for us plebes, and another for the professional politician ruling class.

No man, I’ve been watching the left wing media spin since 1979. It’s not worse now. In fact it was worse then, when we had zero conservative media. Now, the left is worse, but at least we have alternatives.

I was a leftist when young. My red pill was reading a great deal of the history of the left in depth and detail from across the full political spectrum.

Sandy hook for me. Been a gun guy and exposed to firearms since I was a kid. To hear the media and politicians lie about what a firearm can and cannot do, crime stats involving firearms etc I knew the fix was in. Intentionally lying in order to push a certain agenda was super eye opening.

I’m sure it has gone on since the begging of time, but sandy hook was the first time I really took notice how crooked politicians and media could be.

The relentless, psychotic, and blatantly false attacks on Trump. And I'll add if anybody isn't red pilled by what's going on with Joe Biden right now then there's no hope

Trump. Before him I thought there were just isolated pockets of corruption. His treatment showed my perception was 180-degrees backwards to reality. There are only a few isolated pockets that are NOT corrupt.

It was before this administration, but I effectively said f**k the Democrats forever when Nancy ripped up the SOTU address.

When the American Medical Association said we need to close schools and churches because of Covid.

But the BLM riots I mean protests were brave and noble because "racism is the real pandemic."

Those weren’t even just riots. It was a color revolution in our country and the media did everything they could to cover it up and also encourage it

They know people are waking up and they have lost control of the narrative. That’s the reason for the communist response
