I was actually naive enough to believe that elections could make a difference and that we the people can control things up until January 2017.
This was when the Repukes controlled the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate. They promised for eight years to repeal Obamacare if ‘we the people’ gave them the power. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell did NOTHING to repeal that garbage and they NEVER had any intention of doing so.
I finally figured out the Republicans are just associate Dems. Only thing to correct this mess is a meteor strike in the DC area.

YEP. When the Federal Police go around killing people who are just living . . . you're in a POLICE STATE. You could become a target for any reason, or for no reason at all. That is the EXACT kind of power that Our Founders did NOT want government to have.

the Q stuff opened my eyes to the depths of corruption of the government and those controlling individuals and groups that exist.
I knew that "the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately sick" (Jer. 17:9), and that politicians tend to be more evil than the rest due to their ambition and lust for power, but I didn't realize just how bad it was until the Q stuff started making me think about current (and past) events in a different light.

I would say a single issue had the foundation laid out for me from an early age…abortion. I never understood that as a kid, with a child’s mind, how anyone could be so cruel to do that. The subject matured with me and stuck with me, especially being raised in the church from day 1. Of course other things fell into place along the way as well.

My Dad said, "son, that's what they do, the TV, the media, government...that's what they do."
As he pointed to my mom sobbing like a baby over the shite they were spewing about 3 mile island.
The first major event I remember and how it affected my mom, and how my dad knew it was dramatized.
Over the years he would talk about how they lie about everything, every event, every issue.
My Dad said, "son, that's what they do, the TV, the media, government...that's what they do."

I've always been conservative, but I think the Ferguson riots is when I really took notice of how we are being manipulated and divided on purpose by bullshite gaslighting by the media

Bush v Gore. Watching on CSPAN as they counted votes in Broward county. There were two Democrats and one Republican. One of the Democrats was a lady in a red dress. They were supposed to inspect the ballots and decide. The lady in red was looking at each ballot for about a tenth of a second and putting it in the Gore pile. The Republican guy just threw up his hands in frustration. It was pure BS. At that time, I had probably voted for more Dems and Reps, not true now.
