They don't resent middle America any less, even if they are pandering to you and your values. They see you as a convenient idiot. I haven't watched the Oscars since Leo was whining about global warming, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were told by their executives to pander. It's sad you've fallen for it.

I have not watched the Oscars since Marlon Brando had Pocahontas accept his Oscar for The Godfather and tell us how badly we treated Native Americans. (He was probably polishing Richard Pryor's knob while watching.)

I haven't fallen for shite. I well recognize that even if they see that us commoners think they are douches, I doubt very seriously it will lower their own opinion of themselves...Or their own belief that what they say or think matters. I was just posing a question.

I think they're starting to understand that people dont care about their opinions as much as they think they do. Aside from that, they're all clearly still douches
