Crazy how republicans are for this. I would love another $1,200 but what will be the long term pain felt from printing all this money?

There’s so much debt now, it really doesn’t matter either way. China should be on the hook for all of Covid damages. It’s sad to see so many small businesses and people suffer over something a country allowed to infect the whole world. China is a-hole.

Your great, great, great grandkids will be paying for it

More middle class people will get screwed as we are trudging along still getting a paycheck not knowing what the long term damage to our industry will be

Commercial real estate will be in the crapper

I’m pissed cause people on fixed incomes got it. If you are retired or on welfare or your income not affected, you should not have gotten a dime.

I am with you, but can you imagine the crap DJT would have heard if he signed something excluding those.

It's coming down this week. Everyone who got the first round apparently will get another deposit. The dependent amount goes from $500 to $1200. And the weekly unemployment is set to go from $600 to $200.

Hyper inflation...I don't see, at this point, how we won't be faced with it.

The purpose of this is to stimulate the economy. Has nothing to do with whether or not you’ve been financially affected by Covid.

Because our money isn't real It's backed by world banks who determine what currency is worth.

Makes me think that Latoya wants to shut down Nola so she can invest in the properties and pay off her taxes

Seriously thou, someone/some people are about to invest in a lot of businesses and expand the gap between Rich and Middle class even more

You can add government employees to this as well.

That's what the Democrats proposed. We'll see when the details get released.

crazy question, who is considered dependent? for example, if one spouse's income has been impacted because of covid and company shut down or reduced force, can dependents be claimed? what if this spouse is married who's partner was not or has not been impacted by covid (meaning their employer)?

I don't think anything in the HEROES act will be in this bill (I could be wrong)....I think the stimulus amount and eligibility will mirror the CARES act.

This is all when the bill is announced...what it morphs into over the next couple of weeks is anyone's guess.

It's someone you claimed on your tax returns.
