I see the Leftist media trotting out stories with the purpose of tugging on your heartstrings (including one about an Iraqi transgender this morning).

I'm at the point where these stories only act to make me not want these individuals here more. 'Get em out, out, out!'

No. They never have. Emotional appeals have no place in rational thought.

Great. Another thing the American taxpayers are on the hook for.

Pouting children. Don't give in. They deserved the spanking they got. They'll either come around, accept the punishment and learn from it, or move out of the house.

The US is still open to a boatload of people/countries fleeing tough circumstances.

There are about 190 other countries to go to as well. It's not like we're the only option in town.

It's interesting that homelessness is starting to make a come back. I guess they found housing for eight years?

Only if it concerns mistreatment of man's best friend.

No. I learned the lack of logic behind these appeals when I was about 10 years old. I heard an advocate on radio say "Saving the life of 1 child is worth it at any price."

I thought "well, that means if everyone gave all of their money to save the kid then he would be saved and everyone in America would be penniless."

That's a cute phrase and everything, but it's essentially never applied in national politics.

Is it irony or sarcasm that you say "gonna" and "bigly"?

The march on Washington poster with the head wrapped Muslim woman is a prime example of over reach. People who are possibly with you on many issues will balk when discussing Muslims who won't assimilate.
