No. They're much worse off. Their elderly problem is bad and getting worse daily. And observers were shocked when it was leaked that their population is like 150 million lower than had been reported - i.e. way less new worker bodies to fund the demographic catastrophe.

You also seem like one who would care about debt. Well, their debt has exploded - past the levels of the US.

Also, not sure where you're getting the trade war talking point. Current admin basically picked up where Trump left off - with the exception of drastically ADDING tech to the war.

You need to get off your bubble sources and get some updated info. None of this is a defense of Biden. It's just telling the truth about China. It's weird how orthodoxy here has hardened around China being so great and eating our lunch. It simply isn't true. They are spiraling, if anything. (They also don't have enough water or energy).
