Have to think that this impeachment charade will blow up in their face.

No. It will be really hard for them to win it back.

Too many Democrat districts out there. Conservatives are vastly outnumbered.

And they have a ton of retirees and have lost some seats due to gerrymandering losses in court

Maybe with the Trump bump. With Trump on the actual ticket, I see massive republican turnout.

So it will be a rinse and repeat for impeachment after election on impeachment. I say Trump needs to drop the goods on the swamp

With Trump on the ticket there is going to be massive Dem turnout as well. The 2018 elections had the highest midterm voter turnout since like the 1910’s

I'm afraid this is true if the dems hold the house. It will be nothing but investigations, hearings and probably more impeachment bullshite which will pretty much waste the majority of Trump's presidency. Which is the plan I'm sure.

Hopefully we can retake the house but it's going to be difficult to outvote all the dead people and illegals that will be voting democrat

Almost no chance. Too much turnover, and almost all of the swing seats are in blue states that will turnout bigly against Trump

IMO it just depends on how the rest of everything goes. A lot of factors.

If Trump is somehow able to drop the goods on all the swampers between now and then then yes, maybe the Republican party retakes the House. However, I don't think he's necessarily in a rush to do that. I think they're trying to drag this thing out as long as possible before lowering the boom. Because the longer they wait, the more anger they can diffuse within the populace beforehand.

When they do move to strike against the coup plotters and actually levvy justice upon the so-called "deep state" there are going to be riots and protests. So they're trying to orchestrate this in such a manner that neutralizes as much of that as possible.

This thing may (probably not, but may) drag out into his second term. If that happens I wouldn't expect the Republicans to retake the house.

My guess would be no. Trump’s just one man and he’s doing his part but my fear is the R’s are going to frick this up and allow the Dims to continue playing their dirty games. The danger going forward is the R’s allowing the Dims to smear Trump so throughly that he loses a close GE.

This shampeachment should be summarily dismissed after the Dims present the articles and are allowed to present their case. Once the Senate reads the articles and allows the Dims to state their case McConnell should declare the articles are unconstitutional and lack sufficient evidence for the impeachment of a duly elected president.

There is literally nothing that trump can drop on the swamp that is going to change people’s minds. It is 21st century politics.

Im not so sure. If democrats were confident in blue and swing districts they wouldn’t have done impeachment. It polled terrible in swing areas and it’s only gotten worse. They’re conceding the moderates and more worried about marginal blue districts. Or else it’s the largest political blunder in modern history. We’ll see.

Orange County, and the seats in NY, NJ, and other major NE suburbs are not going back red in an election with Trump on the ticket.

It’s just not happening.

GOP will close the gap, but some of those seats are lost until the Orange Man is no longer around enough to be bad

If they do, it would mean an epic rebuke of the Democrats actions since taking control.

Why?

Because it’s going to take an epic turnout and or crossover Dems to regain control.

A majority of those voters were 2016 trump voters that went back to Dem.

Anything can happen.
