Trump is not a conservative.
He is a reactionary populist from the rightwing. These folks are kissing cousins to radical Marxist, always have been. They hate liberals of all stipes, especially conservatives, small government types.
Trump wants to be grand figure of history. He can't do that relying on market forces and supply and demand. I fear in the end, all he is going to do is serve as an example of what doesn't work and embolden his enemies. They already do not focus on the 80% of the stuff he gets exactly right.

And i was trying to lead you to water, but what event was happening that might impact energy prices in 2024? Oh that's right, an election. And what act did Joe Biden due to falsely bring energy prices down? Raiding the strategic petroleum reserves. And what happens when we stop raiding the oil reserves, as Trump did? Energy prices begin to go back to previous levels. And what is trump doing to lower energy prices? Opening up drilling, reducing bureaucratic red tape, and signing multiple EO's on day 1 restoring America's might on energy.
Nuh uh. MMT.

Son, you cant even acknowledge inflation is up under Trump and employment down. I dont expect you to understand more complex stuff.
Of course you arent going to be able to read a 12 lines of colums proiving that prices for fertilizer rose under Trump, and even moreso when his tariff policy was announced.

Indeed. The main ingredient of populism is victimology. They think everyone rich is out to get them.
Populism is directionless and usually drifts to the dock of socialism.

You have proven, yet again to be a binary thinker that cannot comprehend more than two data points. And you’re quadrupling down on it. It’s so cringy…you aren’t smart enough to understand why. Keep strutting pigeon.

Maybe not, but at least i know what the driving cost of fertilizer is. You think it's tariffs.

You mean how during Biden's term fertilizer was in the 200s and 95% of the 4 years of Biden's term, fertilizer was never lower, than Trump's high? And that the only point during Biden's term that fertilizer was cheaper than current price was during the election when Biden opened up the strategic oil reserves to artificially reduce energy prices??? You mean that kind of data?
As i stated before. No one likes you. Even if you weren't so obviously wrong in this thread, no one would pay attention to what you are saying. You just come off sounding like some TDS riddled a-hole.

In the world of realpolitik this story will be reported as him craping on Ranchers.
How many ranchers need to sit home in SD/ND or MT to shift elections?
If beef prices fall and ranchers take a hit, how long do you think it will take to do story on their pain and run that on every major news outlet. If the beef prices fall and they don't fall enough at the grocery store how much do you think people will be ok with domestic ranchers being stabbed in their backs?
Believe it or not PT is not reality. Most people don't get their news from this board.

So has inflation in general. Ranchers only cost isnt fertilizer. Everything has risen in price.
