Did they ever find the 2.3 trillion dollars missing from the pentagon in 2001?

Edit: I remember on Sept 10, 2001 Donald Rumsfeld said 2.3 trillion dollars was missing from the pentagon. The next day we were attacked. Did they ever find the money or find out what happened to the money?

Did they ever look for it?

I thought it was 2.2, not that a detail like that is really all that important.
But the better question might be how would Rumsfeld know this and if it's true how did it never wind up on the books?

Down the memory hole...just like Clinton's emails will be in a couple weeks when Sessions lets the time limit run out.

So, you implying they took the accounting office out on purpose? Am I reading this wrong?

Yes orbiting Pluto in Uranus

No
Because it wasn't missing and it never was
He was just saying that they couldn't reliably keep track of it to the standards that they would like
Of course conspiracy theorists love to make much more of it

You are correct it was 2.3 trillion. I understand that would be put on the back burner after what happened the next day but that is a lot of money to be missing. It’s not like it was a million dollars just laying around or anything.

The money didn't go missing
They just didn't have the detailed accounting standards that you would expect them to have
Repeat after me - THE MONEY DIDN'T GO MISSING

No, I know we are in trillions of dollars in debt and wanted to know if that money was included in the total amount of debt that we are in or has nothing to do with it at all.

Ok thanks for explaining and I didn’t know that.

And why would such a "system" be set up in the first place, and who was involved in that system?

Uh Huh..

Right...the system to accurately track that large amount of money....but you're convinced that "THE MONEY DIDN'T GO MISSING"?

The documents were lost when a missle hit the pentagon

The money's not missing. They just don't know where it went. There's a difference, because... uhhh... conspiracy theorists!

And conveniently the “plane” at the pentagon hit the office the people who were looking into it were occupying. Even though there was no plane wreckage

Yes, they bought bolts and commode seats with it.
