As wise as they were, do you think the save guards they drafted can root out what has taken over our country?

I don't think anyone in those days could have foreseen this level of evil.

See 1a and 2a.

It was the foremost thought in their minds.

Maybe America has always been this corrupt, and we’re the ones who are just now realizing it?

They never considered that one day women would be allowed to vote. As a group, they vote for grievance claims, no matter how ridiculous.

Absolutely. Quotes abound from many of those great men.

I mean, our country was designed to mitigate the influence of government by limiting it’s power and control in our lives, but like dogs returning to their own vomit, we did everything to get around those limitations and return to our chains.

Absolutely our framers anticipated this. It’s why Jefferson and others reminded us that we may have to fertilize the tree of liberty again. I think what they perhaps didn’t see was just how weak and morally corrupt we would have become so that we allow it to devolve to this point.

I think they anticipated it. Corruption and lies have always been here. They didnt predict the technology that would allow people to get away with it

The Framers absolutely anticipated corruption in government. What they failed to anticipate was the governed populace's complete indifference to it.

They did. The problem is that they never imagined that a completely f*cking politicized Supreme Court would literally write out the "safe guards" they did provide. Much of this can be traced back to the completely INSANE and absurd ruling in Roe v. Wade. When the Dims saw that they could pretty much sh!t and piss on the Constitution at will by just appointing the most far left whackjobs they could find to the Supreme Court, the Left realized that they no longer had to give a f*ck about the will of the people.

Do you ever wonder why we've gone so damn long without there being any sort of even an attempt at a Constitutional amendment? Hell, they even dropped the ERA amendment which was going on at the same time. The left realized that they could just get biased, politicized, and morally and intellectually bankrupt SCUM appointed to the Supreme Court to rewrite the Constitution for them without the need to actually go through the PROPER PROCESS to get it done.

They knew unchecked government is capable of unspeakable evil What they didn’t anticipate is the American man would become as soft as he has - unwilling to fix the issue in the manner prescribed in the DOI.

But does the armed citizenry have the balls to act with the constitutionally protected weaponry? Can you bring yourself to pull the trigger when you hear "We've come to take you away"??

They absolutely did and they provided the means to fix it………what they would have never expected was the pussification of Americans to do nothing about it.

They anticipated corrupt branches of government fighting each other for power, but not all 3 branches working together in concert.

The 16th, 17th and 19th Amendments were a great erosion of protection against what has happened.

And Hamilton was a known traitorous POS who everyone despised.

Which is precisely why the Pedophile Elite in Hollywood made a Broadway musical hit out of that Scumbags historical SJW “resistance fighter” archetype.

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” - Thomas Jefferson
