With a representative government there will always be a portion wanting to become subjects again.

Did they know we'd be here in a few hundred years and make plans for us to reset thing?

Are the founders the original LONG term preppers?

All States didn't

SC didn't want to sign the Declaration.

Hence my representative comment.

I think They set up a system of government indented to be flexible in certain areas while maintaining certain set principles.

I am Sure they most would have been slightly horrified by any kind of socialism in the late 1700s but at the same time a lot of them also would have been horrified at the idea Of a popular vote.

Self determination is a founding principle of our country. “No taxation without representation” Kinda leaves the door open for taxation with representation.

Absolutely, they did. And Preppers is never a term I called them, but it's accurate!

They gave us almost everything Britain wouldn't give them. And made it so that if our government got out of line - the people could take it back and restore ourselves from tyranny and any form council communism.
