Did "House of Cards" embolden the Dems in 2020?

I've been binging on "House of Cards" for the last 2 weeks. Gotta say, some of the best acting I've seen in years.

I'm at the part where the election is in flux - no clear winner. Lots of behind the scene arm-twistings and dishonorable shenanigans to get their folks across the finish line - all at the 11th hour and beyond. I think it's remarkable how they mirror the cloak and dagger dirty deeds of the Dems in 2020. Did they get their playbook from Kevin Spacey?

It’s based off of career politicians like Durbin and others who plot in DC.
