Did Biden admit that blue roofs protect homes from DEWs?

Talking about the Texas wildfires

quote:

“If you fly over these areas that are burned to the ground, you’ll see in the midst of 20 homes that are just totally destroyed, one home sitting there because they have the right roof on it.”

Blue roofs, not just the color by the way - the "blue roof" system is for water retention and runoff mitigation.

The reason they are blue is because the membrane used is blue in color.

It was first developed for low slope roofs. EPA is now pushing them under the poorly named infrastructure bill with grants.

Blue doesn’t absorb the energy from the DEW so it won’t catch fire. That’s what they’re saying.

Hey like what if wildfires are still a natural thing?

My uncle thinks NASA made up the moon landing but believes they put lasers in space to start wildfires lol

assuming DEW would be microwaves, violet in color would be better than blue.

However, blue is indeed on the better end of the spectrum. The "darker", ie closer to the red in the visible spectrum you go, the microwaves would be absorbed and thus create heat.

Sure I get what you are saying.

I don't buy into the CT on Maui as much as some but I do find it suspicious that the area is still locked down to this day and fenced off. People are not being allowed access to their land to rebuild or anything.

The sky is also blue... And DEWs don't work on it. They couldn't blast through the fishbowl/firmament for a reason.
