GOP won't win another national election ever.

Never, it’s over. The people that are suppose to protect us from corruption are corrupt!

You knew this would happen. I'm not concerned. They need to flip six or seven seats in the house. And a couple in the senate. The poll can't analyze that.

Erick E's take on the radio today was:
Generic ballot polling always favors democrats for a variety of reasons he quickly outlined. It's usually off by about 6% from reality.
Edit- he also said this is toxic for dems, because now they have false hope and will revert to their evil ways which will surely lead to the reality factor swinging even further toward republicans.

Same story every election cycle. They just change the date.

It's all the MAGA candidates that won their primaries. The Dems wanted them to win the primaries. You all kept bragging about how many Trump endorsed candidates won their primaries, but that was the plan all along. They knew they could easily beat these terrible candidates. You dipshits feel right into the trap.
There is one guy to blame for losing the presidency, and the senate in 2020.

The only way I’ll trust the integrity of another election is if it’s paper ballot with voter ID, no mass mail-in ballots allowed.

The thing is - had Republicans begun to nationalize the midterms in March, they might have forced a capitulation well before this Garland stunt. But, they ran and hid, scared of their shadows because of the Roe reversal. They were desperate to run the clock out.
Now, this tiny bit of momentum the Dems are working on might be all they need to narrowly hold both houses. Will I still think they get a narrow, narrow majority in the House (enough to retire Pelosi), the Rs have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory ... again.

If this week has taught us anything it's that there no limit to the amount of frickery the Democrats are willing to resort to to retain power.
If the GOP would ever regain the majority and find their balls , which is a long shot, half of them would be in Federal prison.
They are fighting to stay out of jail. What are Republicans fighting for ?

Nothing is going to change either until the masses accept this. Democrats are going to take a two seat majority in the Senate and keep their majority in the House in a few months and it will have nothing to do with how people actually vote. Nothing will be different in 2024 either.

You think Perdue and Loeffler were good candidates?

Remember, politics is local. Each house race is a separate thing. The success of the Rs will be in the candidates they run. Do you know what was the prediction in 2020?

Rubbish. There are no identifiable "voting issues", other than the fact that Democratic ideas and ideals are simply more popular and have been framed more favorably by the press. So-called "independents", in particular, are movin' in the direction of the mainstream.
For instance, the new Inflation Reduction Act has broad support even among Republicans, even though there are a lot of troubled, and troubling, measures within the new law. NPR just praised its "tax cutting provisions" on this afternoon's news report.
