So sick of this. Nobody was or will be denied HEALTHCARE.
Health INSURANCE, maybe, but not Healthcare.

Eh, how so?

ER's are mandated to take care of people that show up until they are in a stable state, but you will need more then an ER to get things like regular medications, regular monitoring you may need, or any number of non-emergency treatment.

Even people with insurance don't always have the money to afford stuff they need.

I guess you could play the semantics game that Paul Ryan does and claim everyone has access, but thats just retarded logic.

The Affordable Care Act was unpopular because of smear campaigns. The masses agree pre-existing conditions should be covered. The masses agree on coverage up to age 26 by parents plans. The masses agree everyone should have access. The only thing that really pissed people off was the mandate. Other than that it was the smear campaigns.

I'm fairly sure the high premiums and losing their current coverages had a little to do with it.

Not since Obamacare, correct.

Retarded logic is you believing that Doctors will deny necessary care based on ability to pay.

The premium and deductible increases, throwing millions off their plans, and narrow to nonexistent networks are also common complaints.

Not since Obamacare?

Pre-ACA we had over 45 million people uninsured. That same number underinsured.

If it can be done through the ER, sure. Outside? Not as clear. Doctors aren't just gonna buy you your medicine or give you free routine exams to check on that bout of iritis you had that they recommend you come back every 4 months for. Deliver that baby for free.

And if they do and a bill is administered, we all still end up paying in the form of higher prices and insurance rates if it doesn't get payed. There are no free lunches.

we have to pass it to find out what's in it

Shouldn't we know what's in it before it's passed?

It's you who is swallowing a lie.

this bill absolutely nothing to remove healthcare from anyone. it is you who equates health insurance with healthcare. ask those poor ACA covered schmucks who have policies they can't afford to use, IF they find a provider who accepts it.

ObamaCare has added 24 million Americans to status of being COVERED.

The brave Democrats who shepherded ObamaCare to the level of becoming the law of the land, may have lost their seats, but ideally chose doing the right thing rather than the path of vulgar political expediency.

Nope. Obamacare is a true failure so ANY type of replacement will fare better.

If they can rollback some of the premium increases that we've had.....I'll be voting republican in 2018.
