I do support it

Not because of what he did was impeachable, but because impeachment and conviction will bar him from being able to be gop nominee again. I don’t want him to run in 2024, as he is damaged goods, fairly or unfairly

"A vote against this impeachment is a vote to validate the unacceptable violence we witnessed in our nation's capitol."

Wait...huh?

This is like Senators deciding last Wednesday to no longer support looking into the EC votes in several states under question because of what had happened...as if what had happened altered the facts they were going to discuss.

Wouldn’t a conviction prevent him from being any party’s nominee?

When asked if he supported impeachment, he said yes...though not because anything he did was impeachable.

I mean...why bother at that point?

So... you want to impeach him even though he did nothing impeachable?

And you are being serious?

And expect us to take you seriously?

Impeachment was originally created in order to prevent people from running for office again, if that person represents a liability for the party
