Just extended the order until May 24
Happening live so I don’t have a link.
All non related work gatherings that can’t maintain a 6ft distance are prohibited.
Restaurants allowed to open at 50 % capacity with 6ft distance between tables
Hair and nail salons allowed to open as well as gyms under strict guidelines

I'm hoping that there will be local resistance to this. Vestavia's mayor already sent a protest letter to the governor's office. There was talk that he'd let businesses open before this. I bet he does it next week. Vestavia doesn't have the big box stores like other cities in the area. Having the small businesses shut down isn't hurting them short term, but long term it could be a killer for the city.

So we have the Guvnuh and the state health officer talking about safety guidelines and there she stands without a mask and he has his pulled down around his chin.
