Anyway, onto demands for fed hate crime prosecution and suing the grocery store! Erica Thomas says the store was slow to react, putting her in unreasonable danger.

Respectfully disagree. It would cede the ground that if what she had alleged were to ever occur then it would constitute a hate crime. Personally I can't think of any speech that should be labeled a hate crime regardless how vile it might get.

At the very least, she should resign from the legislature.
This is worse than the dope that was tricked into yelling racial slurs and showing his arse cheeks in a staged self defense class. He was clearly a moron and needed to go. And the republicans demanded and got his resignation.
But you won’t hear the democrats call for her to resign, no sir. In fact they will double down. They will ignore facts and evidence. They will openly and knowingly lie to everyone again and again.
She lied and created a phony race issue to promote herself for notoriety and political self gain. She didn’t count on this guy being a Cuban and a democrat who had been railing against Trump on Facebook for “go back” comments. But it’s all there for the world and the media and everyone to see.
The grocery clerk gave a statement to police that he did not say what she claimed he said. It’s there for everyone to see.
She lied. She’s still lying. She felt entitled to go through the 10 items max express line with 20 items. When a guy called her out on it, she doubled down. Then she tripled down. Now she’s quadrupled down.
She’s a liar, a fraud, a self entitled arrogant bitch, and a disgrace. She should not be in government in any capacity.
