Crowder had a huge melt over "Big Con" media.

I have never really paid much attention to Crowder, but I saw this at patriots.win and thought it was an interesting glimpse into the behind the scenes of conservative/alt media. The video is him describing his adventure onto the free agent market of growing his platform and how he was shocked at whoever was going to own him now. I kind of rolled my eyes at him on the first few contractual items -- sure, they may want your merch and social media rights. But, then he got into the show and ad read numbers and whatever this was looks like a meat grinder. But, what is really gross is if you get deplatformed or boycotted (things outside of your control), your revenue numbers go down, too.
He said this is not about The Blaze. I would be surprised if it is a Rumble deal as I see he is on Rumble and they seem to give guys like Greenwald, Russell Brand, Viva Frei, and Salty Cracker free rein (Greenwald did say that Rumble asked him to move written media to Locals instead of Substack and that took some negotiation, though).
Who do you think he is talking about? The contract stuff is around 8:00-13:00. I'm not sure how much this is normal negotiation and how much of it is truly onerous.

Obviously Dailywire (which has always been NeoCon Inc.)

Ah. Is that Shapiro's thing? If so, why would you even think about going into business with them?

The fact that you guys rip on Shapiro just shows how out of touch you are

I'm assuming DailyWire?
I hope he understands that the terms of his deal are negotiable. He doesn't have to take any of those.
I don't know why he's whining publically instead of just asking them to pull the terms or just telling them he's gonna self publish. If Jordan Peterson can work something out, surely they could negotiate.

At this point, he should just say he's talking about Dailywire. That's what everyone is assuming it is. If he isn't, he should clear that up.

Shaprio is a neocon. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't. Dailywire is funded by a bunch of Lincoln project types as well as gullible boomers who like it when Shapiro goes on campus to make a bunch of brainwashed children look silly.

Shapiro is Sensi with deeper and wittier thoughts.

I wonder if Shaprio is repped by CAA like the rest of the government's assets?

Shapiro is one degree of separation from Dan Crenshaw

I took one look at the website and other than Candace Owens, it looks like little Israel.

The Wilks Brothers. They are no where near as bad as Lincoln Project types.

Fair enough. The point is Dailywire is obviously a gatekeeping operation designed to keep people corralled into their nice little lanes of thought.

If Crowder comes back, he needs to cut his production down to less than an hour. Him and his crew hit a few home runs, but there was a lot of down time.

He's talking about the Daily Wire. Here's Mark Dice's reply to Crowder's FB post today.
quote:Fortunately, I never bought Shapiro's neocon shite. His 'conservatism' extends only as far as his orthodox religion and Israel first beliefs go.

Sounds like Crowder is talking about a contract offer from the Daily Wire and thought he'd join the Ben Shapiro family only to realize they're just another cartel. Ben Shapiro pays Facebook $130,000 a month in advertising (just for his Facebook page alone, not all Daily Wire advertising). This is publicly available information Facebook provides as part of their new transparency policy after Russians bought some ads in 2016. Also Shapiro had a secret dinner with Mark Zuckerberg at one of Zuck's homes a few years ago, so it's no mystery why he and the Daily Wire have never been demonetized or suspended. They're in bed together. People should know how the mainstream "conservative" machine works.

I like Ben and listen to him daily, I also like Stephen and listen to him daily!
He’s said he wouldn’t take it if he knew then what he knows now. Was also against the mandates and The Daily Wire won its lawsuit to ban mandates across the country
