crime stats "out of context" ?

liberal: there's systemic police racism and oppression
conservative: no there isn't, here are all the statistics that not only don't support your argument, but prove the opposite.....
liberal: those statistics are taken out of context
my question- what is this "out of context" argument? what context are these statistics supposed to be in? i've heard this liberal rebuttal a few times, but i've never heard them place the stats in context.

"Out of context" means the statistics don't fit their narrative.

They claim the numbers are out of context because there are less black people than white people, so therefore a higher percentage of black people are targeted by the police. The problem with that argument is, people have adjusted the numbers to account for that, and it proves even further how wrong that argument is.

"out of context" is a feeble and intellectually bankrupt way of trying to disarm facts. They do this and then I guarantee you they never follow with their own facts or figures.
It goes from "out of context" and "tone-deaf," to ad hominem attacks, but never actual facts.

you can't really argue with facts

Their one and only argument is that there’s more white people than black. Obviously so, but what’s even worse is when you break it down even further the amount police interaction between police and blacks per capita because they simply commit more crimes as opposed to whites and add the fact more whites are killed by police by double, that stat is alarming! Liberals try their damndest to ignore and hide that.

'Out of context' is a much better argument than their other rebuttal point:
'Math is an artificial construct invented by whites to oppress minorities.'

It means facts go against my feelings so I must dismiss them.

I mostly blame Republicans for Obamacare - if they had simply begun to address obvious/serious healthcare issues in a thoughtful/forthright way, there'd have never been the juice in this country to make Obamacare happen.
Similarly, I mostly blame conservatives for the false narrative that has greenlighted the burning of cities and put Karen and Chad on their knees begging blacks for foregiveness.
Even for politicians and media, liberals are particularly treacherous when it comes to truthtelling. There's no surprise there, especially over the last 3.5 years. Since Trump took office, name the "national debate" where their argument wasn't dramatically and cynically untruthful.
The point is the Right needs to stop being pussies and join the fight. Republican politicians and Right-leaning media need to stop worrying about being called "racist homophobe sexist grandma killers" because that's happening regardless, and start pegging liberals in the public square with their own ridiculous bullshite. Think James Woods and Candace Owens on Don Lemon's show or in the press corps at a Pelosi presser. That's what we need to see, because I think the American public - black, brown and white - would recognize the truth IF it was spoonfed them.

"The stats don't back us up, because they're fake."
I've heard that one.
