Disgraced lawyer Michael Avenatti was convicted Friday by a jury of all three charges related to his efforts to extort up to $25 million from athletic apparel giant Nike.
The verdict in U.S. District Court in Manhattan came two years after Avenatti gained widespread notoriety for his representation of porn star Stormy Daniels in her legal disputes with President Donald Trump.
Avenatti, who was ordered jailed last month for bond violations, faces upcoming trials in two other federal criminal cases.
One of those cases, in New York, is for charges that he swindled Daniels out of $300,000 in proceeds for a book she wrote.

Avenatti is a narcissist that failed to acknowledge and respect his current financial position in life and accordingly live within his means.
He tried to live the high dollar OT baller life and had to steal, scam and defraud his way into that and he thought he was smart enough to avoid getting caught
And I'll be honest and say there was a small chance he may have gotten away with it if his narc arse didn't go all in on the stormy daniels bullshite to "get Trump" and that only just put him on the feds radar.
Avenatti is swimming up shite creek because of his own hubris and narcissism.

When you're getting fired by porn stars for being too unethical, it may be time to go ahead and lay low, live within your means and start building your reputation back up.
