But instead of celebrating Ames’ work, Cheryl Watson-Harris, Carranza’s top deputy — who left last year to become schools chief in DeKalb County, Ga. — interrogated Ames during a chauffeured car ride about her DOE history, her family, residency and “improperly inquired” about her ethnicity, she claims.
They keep coming

“The agenda of Chancellor Carranza and his senior leadership team was euphemistically touted as an ‘equity platform’ but in reality, it was a platform used to create gender, age, racial and ethnic divisions in the NYC School system,” she contends in her Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit filed Friday. Ames was grilled about her “ethnic background,” chastised by a colleague at a training session when she shared her grandparents’ experience during the Holocaust in Poland, and “admonished” when she declined requests at superintendents meetings to take part in the comic book movie-inspired “Wakanda Forever” salute to “black power,” she charges in the legal filing.

This is only the beginning.

We love our strictly enforced totalitarian cultural Marxism don’t we folks? It’s so refreshing to see 1950s style regional white racism replaced with an even more national black racism, isn’t it folks?

This might be the most pathetic thing I've ever heard. They have to hang their hats on a fictional comic book nation.

I noticed that. Way too close to home.

She's a Jewish woman and I'm sure (at least at one time) supported to policies that got her removed. Reap what you sow.

“Cheryl Watson-Harris”
Every.

They want everyone to conform or they ruin you. Wakanda is a fictional place and black panther sucked

a little bigoted to assume that...don't you think?

“you better check yourself,”
These are the same type of people who gave the rioters in Baltimore room to destroy property.

Should not settle and, instead, make them go on record...

I got this from a white South African so I don’t know if this is written law, unofficial policy, or just how he said things are done.
In South Africa whites are allowed to have jobs but not allowed to rise about the base level job and become managers or supervisors.
I see this in future government jobs.

Black Panther isn’t my favorite Marvel film, but it’s still entertaining and provided children of color with a great super hero role model.
Associating this type of nonsense with it will only hurt the franchise’s future.
Then again, the next Phase of the MCU seems to be focused on virtue signaling, so maybe it’s right in line.

You could make the argument that this policy has already started.
If you’re not a fat, cucked leftist, good luck as a white male trying to advance your career in certain industries.

Apparently only “black and brown” people are allowed to talk about adversity and discrimination at the Wakanda conferences.
Not someone whose family suffered actual loss of life to it within two generations.
