That "who called the Jew-Police picture" isnt racist and actually kinda humorous.
A joke pertaining to judaism isnt anti-semitic. It wasnt even making fun of Jews.
This hunt for irony is just going to drive us quicker to a world where we cant make a joke.

But when antisemitic comments like these come from a New York Times newsroom insider, it is very troubling – especially because the NYT just decided to stop running political cartoons because they couldn’t stop the antisemitism coming from their cartoonists.

The one you quoted is different. I will admit that. But from a comedy perspective its so on the nose that the idea of anti-semitism IS the joke.
