I wonder what the average death rate is for Red States vs Blue. Looks like the Blue States are massively over-represented. You have to go a ways down this list to find the first Red state.

If it wasnt for a shite load of old folks homes getting it in st.louis city and county, we'd be near the bottom.

I believe over 30 different senior homes between stl and stlco had the virus. One of worst in country(not counting ny and cuomo actually putting sick in there to kill elderly)

Except we aren’t testing everybody that died and simply calling it Covid so who knows if that’s what they had

What are we qualifying as a red state? #4 on this list has a Republican governor. Also not arguing Massachusetts as a red state , just curious what standard y'all are gonna use.

Again. Louisiana is not a red state. They may vote red but they are not governed red. Governor JBE is a Democrat and governs like a Democrat.

8 @ 100K

80 @ 1mil

2,400 @ 30mil rough estimate of pop for Texas.

I'm not very good with math but, Texas is already sitting at 2,481 deaths with 168,062 total cases.

What am I missing?

Found the equation

2,481/29 mil = .0000827

.0000827 x 100,000 = 8.27

Can't argue with math.....I guess.
