Period. Point blank.
If you’re an executive, you stay the frick out of contributing to a political cause or siding with a party or movement.
That’s cardinal rule #1 of running a business.
I personally dgaf about Publix pulling out of the NRA or Chick fil A hating gays or Starbucks trying to be the ultimate SJW. I’ll still shop where shopping’s a pleasure or make the 18 year old kid say my pleasure or pay 9 bucks for Shitty coffee (Kidding on that last one, frick Starbucks). But taking stances like that unnecessarily alienates customers.

Corporations are people too.

Too bad this guy wasn't at the Publix with piglet.

Totally agree, not even tax deductible

This is true. But corporations act as a collective people. And the entities that make up the collective people aren’t going to agree on issues. So it’s best that companies stay neutral.

If they don't have the balls to stand up for what they believe in they should just slink into the shadows and sell their shite.
I wouldn't mind if they shut up about all the left wing bullshite they push but then there isn't a professional organization to fake outrage about THAT so they can do that easier.

Media needs to stay out of politics. They should report the facts without biased bullshite.

Unfortunately, only the right plays by the rules, If instituted.

And so should men-of-the-cloth when standing in the pulpit. A good pastor knows how to get his message across without naming names.

I see this statement a lot. I don’t actually experience it all to often. I know of pastors that preach on issues such as drinking, gambling, abortion, refugees, etc...
I know of some celebrity pastors that endorse candidates, but most celebrity pastors represent very few actual Christians.
Further it is said in context of non profit status. Why should other non profits not see the same scrutiny? Such as planned parenthood.
I don’t think it is the church’s business to endorse canadits, but it has every right to speak on moral issues of the day.

I started a thread a while ago echoing the same sentiments and of course everyone flung shite at me
There is nothing to gain from donating to a cause that is even remotely politically controversial
If you must donate pick something like St. Jude's. Someone would have to be a real a-hole to complain about that.

And presidents should stay out of corporations? (NFL, Amazon, Boeing,Delta, ESPN, Facebook, General Motors, Merk, Toyota, Nordstrom,——)

It is funny that corporations spend a lot of money marketing their brand.
Then an out of touch head of a company makes a statement/decision that turns many of their customers off that they will never get back.

You could make a list for the previous president also
Difference being most of it would be him cozying up to those corps
