Sucks working in corporate America right now... all the social justice talk and pandering going on. It's blatant racism towards anyone not black. I told my manager that I wouldn't participate in their sessions because it didn't seem like the voice of the white race wants to be represented or heard.

This year is setting us back 100 years. Ridiculous.

Here's your problem. Quit and start your own company. I did. Best decision I ever made.

If you work for a large corporation - AND YOU’RE A STRAIGHT WHITE MALE - you can pretty much forget about getting any type of promotion for a while.

Unfortunately, i can't. I don't have the capital to start a tech giant to do the type of work I do.

There’s no way these western corporations can compete with Asians companies that don’t have this albatross around their neck. I doubt the basic competence of the leadership and middle management of American corporations due to affirmative action hires and the adoption of woke culture.

I think what is more fricked up is it's all for money. These companies get praised for wokeness yet people like Rand Paul are harassed in the street. What has the NBA ever done for racial equality compared to Rand Paul? It's a fricking joke.

You don't think that's part of the plan? The only way to conquer the USA is to butt frick the corpse of whatever is left after the economy collapses from internal pressure.

I know a lot of people leaving in the finance world and taking their clients with them. New firms are popping up all over Winston-Salem, Charlotte, and Atlanta.

How'd that go?

Because if I ever have to take any lectures about my privilege or am told to read White Fragility, I'm standing my ground on that.

I hope this is a fad and not here to stay.

I have worked for my company (international major) for 2 years. In the first year, they said they will focus on diversity but the most qualified person will get the position.

Now, after this latest round of virtue signaling, they have said their specific focus is on hiring African Americans especially in all U.S. offices. And this was said by our CEO (based in London) in our global townhall meeting.

I'm lucky I work in a country where BLM has zero impact but the U.S. is my home and I hate seeing it come to this.

No one starts a "giant". Get some partners that have certain expertise you lack. Build something you have a passion for and everyone needs/wants. Then find investors to help grow. It really is very easy and anyone can do it if they don't let fear of failure hold them back.

Is there anything more patronizing And sad than knowing you got hired solely based on your skin color and not your merits ?

But I guess that’s sticking it to the evil white peoples that it’s one less job they can get.

Luckily, my company is mostly white and brown people and let me be honest: brown people don't give a shite about BLM.

Thankfully my company hasn't said anything about it. I hope it stays that way.

The CEOs of these large companies have been convinced that if they go full on diversity and inclusion it leads to a more profitable company.
