If you've been sitting on names of pedophiles for years, then announce that you're going to reveal that information at some special event, I'd deem that the very definition of "attention whoring".
In Feldman's mind this must have nothing to do with IDing sick bastards and everything to do with putting him in the spotlight.

While I'm sure Corey Feldman knows where a lot of bodies are buried, I think he made the whole story up about this big name.
He teased the story when he was getting all kinds of publicity for that horrible performance he put on years ago.
He was even asked in an interview if he made it up and he got real defensive about it.
