Conservatives on the board are happy that the Federal government is back up and running?

And tax money is flowing to non essential functions. Am I reading that mood correctly?

Is there anyone else here besides me that wanted it to stay shutdown for as long as possible?

A bloated Federal government operating without a true budget isn’t ‘good for America’ regardless of who is in power. IMO

What spin? I dislike both parties.

Conservatives are flip flopping more than John Kerry these days with regards to attitudes toward government.

Not happy about the government being back up and running as before. Happy that it hurts the Dems, though, as a loss for Democrats is a win for America.

A shutdown costs taxpayers upwards of 1B per week. That's not how you reduce government spending.
