Mr. Comey, you should also understand that, although this
interview is not under oath,

Clown show.

If they were honest about wanting the truth, they'd hold this PoS accountable.

What a joke.

The rest of the comment said it doesn’t matter if you are under oath. It said you are can still be held accountable for lying to Congress.

I think this means five years prison and a fine for perjury. SEE Cohen.

lying to Congress.

That has carried such a heavy burden in the past.

Comey is s great contrast to Trump. He’s an epic failure at his job, screws the pooch at every level, yet he’s barely criticized because he puts on a great face and speaks eloquently.

The towering ex-FBI boss confessed that the FBI had not corroborated much of the Steele dossier before it was submitted as evidence to a secret court to support a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in the final weeks of the election. And Comey admitted much of the dossier remained uncorroborated more than six months later when he was fired by President Trump. I won’t waste too much time harping on the enormity of this confession. Everyday Americans now know that the FISA court process is an honor system and that the FBI may only submit evidence it has verified to the judges.

Congress should have used some transcripts from texts or phone conversations and asked Comey specific questions about particulars.
Then, once his answers deviated from the exact retelling, charge him with lying to congress, then banckrupt him as he pays lawyers to defend himself.

They did. He said he saw them in the “public domain” after he was fired.

Congress asked him about the specific texts and he said he can’t speculate as to the writers frame of mind and said he’s not the best witness to respond to those texts.

He did acknowledge that even the appearance of bias is an issue, and had he seen that appearance of bias when he was director, he would not have had them working either the Clinton or Russia investigation.

Always wiggle room. Why? Why not have him under oath in the first place and remove any "can" or "could" from the equation?

IG Report Shows James Comey Lied About Why He Publicized New Clinton Emails

FBI email chain may provide most damning evidence of FISA abuses yet

Also: I believe there are emails that prove that Comey was well-aware of Peter and Lisa's sedition and political espionage.
