quote:

(CNN)President Donald Trump, his government shut down on the anniversary of his inauguration, on Saturday acknowledged the thousands taking part in the Women's March with a tweet seemingly "mansplaining" the historic occasion.

"Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for all Women to March," Trump wrote.
"Get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months. Lowest female unemployment in 18 years!"

Hundreds of thousands of men, women and children took to the streets from Washington to Los Angeles to protest the state of women's rights and other issues.

While not necessarily an anti-Trump event, a lot of the sentiments expressed by protesters took aim at the President's words and policies on topics ranging from women's rights to immigration.

The day after Trump's inauguration one year ago Saturday, millions of people took to the streets in cities around the world for the first Women's March

The women's march is about socialism, not women

I know. It was more about the CNN headline acting like Trump didn't know what he was doing

These marches do not stand for all women.
They’re propped-up by the abortion industry and those who mock people of faith.
There is no place for conservatives among their so-called support for women.

Most of the signs at our local gathering had to do with immigration and "free" health care

These marches are made up of three types of women. Those who are,

1. Bitter (ugly/fat and can't get decent men)

2. Hate Filled (hate for the country, men, conservatives, etc.)

3. Ignorant (attention whoring, self-centered, imbeciles who are only there to post selfies and pretend like they're discrimated against because that's what social media and celebrities have told them is cool)

What words and policies of Trump seek to reverse women's rights?

Yeah and that's why I actually found this to be one of his best tweets. It was clever and true. It manages to seem unintentionally ironic, when it's intentionally highlighting the irony of the protesters.

I wish Trump tweeted like this more often.

... Good grief. This is yet another 'racism' accusation. Anytime a man says anything to a woman, he's setting himself up to me 'mansplaining'.

Friggin' libs... let's just divide the country now while we can still do it peacefully.

Muh free birth control. Muh free tampons. It's almost unbelievable that anyone could feel that entitled, but this is modern day America so it's really not unbelievable.

Is that the truth? Serious question.
