What did Biden really say to convince anyone? It is impossible to defend the idea Biden won.

That's better than Trump being down 98% to 2% in the "who won the debate" polls before he debate got started.

Trump won the debate on points and facts, but that’s not necessarily how you win the fickle independents. You have to look and sound like you won, and like it or not, Trump played up his bully mantra more than ever.
Sometimes perception is reality, unfortunately.
