CNN has been talking about the virus all morning, yet the moment Kamala came in to speak they broke away to show her.

Every other news network is showing the hearings. In any previous year, CNN has covered the hearings, like other news networks, with wall to wall coverage.
But no, they're ignoring it and instead showing Joe Biden speak in front of 10 people.

Of course yes. They refuse to show that for a different reason. They want to make it look like Trump is an outlier that everybody hates him. 10,000 screaming fans at a Trump rally destroys her whole narrative
