We now live in a world wherein many folks have no reason whatsoever to be concerned about consequences for what they say. And integrity? Pride?? Those have apparently been deemed old timey concepts by MSM. Now it's just all about decide what you want and how you want things to be.....and simply say it. There isn't much they aren't willing to say. Before long you may even hear something from Don Lemon like "Ladies and gentlemen, the President has been removed." Leave people profoundly confused, and perhaps come back in briefly to "clean it up" by adding something like "for all intents and purposes the President has been removed, but the Senate Republicans are refusing to carry it out." Seems farfetched, I know, but it really isn't.

Again, they say what they want with zero consequences.

Victory?

So far Adam Schiff has:

Not won a single republican vote.
Lost 3 democratic votes
Lost a Democrat seat that flipped GOP
Lost 7 votes in Senate.

I was on a jury trial in 2014 where the prosecutor made their case for two day. When it was the defense turn, he just said "the defense rests". We returned a not guilty verdict.

Sometimes when the case is so weak, trying to argue against it only gives it more credence.
