because Judges, Lawyers and now, Medical Professionals have shown themselves to be totally corrupt in all too many instances.

In 2022 what were once considered to be honest, impartial people have shown themselves to be complete opportunistic, biased, small-minded Political hacks.

Do you really want to trust your freedoms with people who can't or are simply afraid to define what a woman is?

In theory, the Law is a great idea, but in practice, it would take about 5 minutes for some Politically minded Judge/Lawyer/Doctor to start punishing those engaging in wrong-think.

Never give an inch to gvt. I don’t care if it’s a true bipartisan or Trump. Not 1 damn inch bc they’ve proven that either in the immediate future or distant future, they will weaponize their power against their political enemies.

I'm all for gun control as long as it doesn't affect the 2nd amendment in any way, shape or form.

We can’t even agree on simple terms like what an insurrection is, or riots vs mostly peaceful protests

If you think the left won’t abuse this encroachment, you’re not paying attention

Only one I'd push is increasing punishments for animal abuse.
That's a real crime and is a red flag.

Just being "weird" is not a red flag

Remember these people have tracked everything you have said on the phone, posted on the internet, tweeted, commented on Facebook for the last fifteen years.

Do you think there is enough to decide you don’t need a gun.

What if you said something like “Never hide your guns, when the need arises to hide your guns it is time to use them.”

That is probably enough to lose your rights under red flag laws.

In fact only 5% of TD posters would have any rights left after a review.

My right to own guns comes from God not the government. And only God can restrict those rights.

My house is full of animals, so I am totally opposed to mistreating animals. However, how are they to be trusted to define abuse?

You dog is too active, too sedentary, their space is too hot, too cold, you feed them too much, not enough....

Republicans need to tap dance this thing through mid terms and then totally demolish any attempt at changing gun laws.

It's pretty cut and dry to me.
I've seen enough of the bad stuff to realize there's a difference between forgetting to fill up their water bowl in the morning to the stuff I've seen.

If you want the same people that gave you COVID lockdowns deciding who gets to have rights and who does not, you are an idiot.

Same people who can't define what a woman is are the ones to define 'shall not be infringed' ???

Red flag law has worked here in Florida…i think it’s a healthy attempt to meet the demand of preventing mentally ill from shooting innocents but not taking guns from “mentally sound” law abiding citizens

Edited to add “mentally sound” bc i noted the hypocrisy

That's because the state is full of Floridians.

Imagine giving that sort of arbitrary power to the nutcases in California.

I’m fairly certain California had it before Florida…i think the first time I heard about it was that town hall debate with Rubio after Parkland- i think Rubio mentioned red flag laws being a solid policy decision and that California has it

If citizens of Florida have had their property taken without due process, then it hasn’t “worked” in any way.

I think there is a due process - after the investigation, if it’s unproven and the person is mentally sound, they get their property back. I find that a normal police practice with other things-

I assume if it was unconstitutional- this would have been challenged to SCOTUS

I do believe there should be a hook to prevent knowingly false charges
