We should already be dead by now. In my high school class in 1995 my environmental science teacher told us we only have 20 years to live because of Global Warming. Now 24 years later here we still all are.

I mean climate change is happening, I'm just curious about humanity’s level of involvement. I’m not doom and gloom about it. I think artificial intelligence is a much more pressing concern about the future humanity than climate change. At worst I think we will be able to technologically innovate to the point to eventually negate climate change. If AI turns on us though, we’re totally fricked.

If you haven't yet discovered Alex Epstein on youtube, podcasts, or his writings, I highly recommend you check him out. To me he has the clearest mind on the subject, fundamentally different than anyone else in the fray.

There's no question that Climate Change is real? You may question the reason and/or if it's simply a natural fluctuation. However you'd have to be a retarded sniveling weasel to say it's not real. ( So, I fixed that for you).

Well they were wrong and dumb. Ask anyone that lives in the mountains if the weather is not different from their childhoods. It’s observable, but the Left has clearly taken it overboard in that we are all going to die.
Meanwhile there is an actual conscious force that is certainly going to arrive in our lifetimes (barring nuclear holocaust) and I don’t hear shite about that. That’s my pressing concern with climate being secondary. Humanity will survive that (easily I might add) but may not survive AI.
